A romantic fairy tale: the two tricks of the brave hedgehog

Once upon a time there was a nice green valley plenty of rabbits. They lived safely and thoughtlessly till the arrival of a cruel fox. Knowing many tricks, this fox in short time catched almost all rabbits except a nice sweet she-rabbit. After many days keeping hidden in the middle of the wood, the nice she-rabbit was feeling alone. The same day she was leaving her hiding-place and abandoning forever her beloved valley, she bumped into a brave hedgehog. "Ahi" she cry out, prickled by the hedgehog, but at once, in spite of all his prickles, she falled in love with him. "Pay attention and hide you, brave hedgehog, because the cruel fox knows many tricks and can catch you". "Don't worry, my darling" answered the hedgehog, who was not indifferent to the nice she-rabbit. "I knows only two tricks, but, believe me, they are enough". "Which are these two tricks? asked the curious nice she-rabbit. "The first one is the capacity to roll up in to a ball completely surrounded by prickles, and the second one...." "And the second one?" asked again the nice she-rabbit.
"The second one is the way to make love without pricking. Came here my darling and I will show you how it works". After some days of passion, the brave hedgehog left the valley and the nice she-rabbit remained again alone in the middle of the hood. Hungry and fed up, also the cruel fox left the valley.
After few weeks, the nice she-rabbit gave birth to seven nice small rabbits. The next day she checked anxiously and no one of them was covered by prickles, but she felt sure they inheritated something else from their father.
When reached the age, the bravest among the young rabbits decided to leave the valley looking for a wife. In short time he became so popular among the she-rabbits, that many of them decided to follow him to know also his brothers.
So, thanks to the second trick of the brave hedgehog, the nice green valley was populated again by many rabbits.
